Hey there,my new weapon of tone is a TRSP35 Combo. So far it's an awesome amp that develops the most organic and 3-dimensional tones I have heard form an amp so far. It's extremely versatile with all its options and you can not get any harsh notes out of it.
The good thing is that it loves all of my pedals. I have heard so many thing from different people, like this amp is a DIVA regarding pedals, 35watt isn't loud enough, a combo will sound boxy and tiny.Let me assure you that none of these comments are true and I believe they come from poeple who haven't even played this amp. This thing is loud - very loud! It blows my 4x12 plus JTM45 away.
The sound really explodes and makes its way through the band sound and cuts perfectly. It seems as if my pedals really show there 'real' character now, as the TR stays true to the sound of the components used and doesn't color the sound.I find this amp very easy to play. The sound is very smooth and even if you play totally clean (most beautiful clean tone by the way) it's easy to play runs and licks, you don't really have to dig extremely for every note. Here's a quick video I've shot yesterday with different pedals and sounds - you better not listen to it on your mobile phone only;-)I know the recording doesn't do justice to the amp's real sound.but I was in the mood of keeping some licks and sounds on 'tape';-).
